Just sold my mortorcycle

É pessoal, eu vendi minha moto! (e isso doeu)
Agora, como um simples motorista meus fins de semana de sol não são os mesmos. Esse último com temperatura na casa dos 30 graus e um baita sol na minha cabeça foi uma tortura ter que andar de carro pela cidade! Terrível, não tem graça nenhuma :(

Um dia eu compro outra... talvez....espero...

Yes guys, I sold my motorcycle! (and it hurted)
Now, as a simple car driver my sunny weekends are not the same. This weekend with temperatures around 30 degrees and a bright sun over my head was a torture having to drive around the town in a car! Just terrible, there's no fun at all :(

Someday I'll buy another one... maybe.... I hope....

Tão estranho escrever isso aqui mas algumas vezes a vida vai em caminhos estranhos.
Esse domingo foi um dos mais tristes da minha vida devido a perda de um grande amigo.
Já falei dele aqui, um adolescente de 50 anos - essa é a melhor forma de descrevê-lo.
É tão esquisito, tantos planos, sempre falávamos sobre tentar mestrado, ter o próprio negócio e coisas do tipo.

Um cara com uma história de vida interessante, conseguiu o primeiro diploma na faculdade aos (+/-)48 e o segundo aos 50, eu só comecei a jogar bola pq ele insistiu por um tempo e outras coisas "estranhas" para um cara da idade dele.

Obrigado por tudo!

So strange to write this here but sometimes our life goes in a strange way.
This sunday was one of the most sad days in my life cause I lost a great friend.
I've already talked about this guy, a teenager of 50 yo - that's the best way to describe him.
It's so weird, we had some plans, always talking about try a masters degree, running our own bussiness and things like that.

An intersting history of life, he earned his first bachelor degree when he was (around) 48 and the second with 50, I just started to play soccer cause he insisted for a while and so many "strange" things for a guy with his age.

Thanks for everything!
I miss you and rest in peace Manoel.

Mercado municipal

Eu já falei sobre o Mercadão de São Paulo e mais uma vez vou falar dele!
É um lugar incrível e eu gosto muito das coisas lá principalmente agora com a reforma (pois é, devia ser uma restauração mas não foi bem feita) tá melhor ainda. Muitos locais para comer, tomar umas ou só pareciar o local ;-). Essa construção foi projetada por Ramos de Azevedo e finalizada em 1933. Hoje é um dos mercados mais importantes do Brasil (o mais? provavelmente) com 14.000 visitantes/dia, 1.600 pessoas trabalhando e mais de 300 toneladas de alimentos vendidos por dia! Números incríveismas não tão incríveis quanto uma das comidas mais tradicionais de lá: O lanche de mortadela!
:) Dessa vez nào vou falar de história, arquitetura, etc, mas sobre um lanche! Mc Donald's e Burger King cuidado porque esse (pelo menos prá mim) [e muito melhor que qquer big wooper! (ok, é um bom lanche, melhor que qquer um do Mc Donalds, mas longe desse).
Ele tem mais ou menos 300g de mortadela fresquinha e rapidamente frita com queijo ou não, não importa, é delicioso! Um leve toque apimentado finaliza esse lanche incrível, que merece o título de lanche, já que esta palavra é um derivado do "lunch" em inglês).
E tudo isso por R$4,50! Quer mais?
E amanhã e' domingo! Grande dia para comer um desses ;-)

I've already talked about the Sao Paulo's public market, and once again I'll talk about it!
It's such amazing place, I really like all the things there, mainly now with the reformation (yeah, it should be a retoration, unfortunatelly it wans't good AT ALL) it's even better. Lot's of new places to eat, have a drink or just sight seeing ;). This building was designed by Ramos de Azevedo and was finished in 1933 now it's one of the most important public markets in Brazil (the most? probably) with 14.000 visitors/day, 1.600 workers and more than 300 tons of food sold per day, incredible numbers but not as incredible as one of the most tradicional foods there: the Mortadella's sandwich! (what's mortadella? look here and here)
:) This time I wont talk about about history, architecture or so, but about a sandwich! Mc Donalds and Burguer King, be careful cause this (at least for me) is much better than any big whooper! (ok, it's a nice sandwich, better than any one from Mc Donald, but far from this).
It seems to have around 300 g of fresh Mortadella quickly fried with cheese or not, no matters, is gorgeous! It's spicy touch finishes this incredible sandwich, wich could be called as a lunch (in Brazil the word for sandwich is "lanche" clearly derivated from the english "lunch").
And this costs less than US$2,00! What else do you want?
And tomorrow is Sunday! A good day to have one of these ;-)

Depois de um tempão sem novidades estou mandando algumas fotos do meu aniversário (Tá, você deve estar pensando "Esse cara pregüiçoso fez aniversário em dezembro" e vc tá certo! Desculpa denovo) tiradas em Bertioga - São Paulo.
Em algumas delas eu usei uma camera digital (Tá, vc tá certo denovo, nesse blog deveria usar apenas o celular, mas tem horas que é muito difícil! Talvez com um desses novos telefones eu consiga melhor qualidade (se eu conseguir comprar um))
Bom, é isso, eu tenho outras fotos mas vou usá-las no próximo post ;)

After a long time witouth any news I'm sending some pictures of my birthday (Yeah, you're probably thinking "This lazy guy has bday on december" and you're right! Sorry again) taken in Bertioga - São Paulo.
To some of them I used a digital camera (Yeah, you're right again, this blog was supposed to use only the cell phone, but sometimes it's pretty hard! Maybe using those new phones I could get a better quality(If I could buy one))

Rua 25 de março, o paraíso da pirataria!

É, pode parecer estranho para alguém de fora de Sampa mas este lugar é incrível! Qualquer coisa que você quiser você acha, por um preço ridículo.
De perfumes a DVDs, for uns trocados você compra tudo nas ruas. Claro, tem coisas boas também, e eu gosto desse lugar pela incrível variedade de tranqueiras, brinquedos e aquelas "coisas-estupidas-que-nunca-irei-usar-mas-eu-quero".
Agora estou atrás de um MP3 Player para usar em minhas "corridas noturnas". Se tiver alguma dica de um modelo a preço baixo me avise!

25 de março st. the piracy heaven!
Yeah, it could be strange for someone outside Sao Paulo (well, in a first world country) but this place is just amazing! Anything you want you get, for a ridiculous price. From perfumes to DVDs, for a few bucks you can buy those things on the streets.
Of course, there are some good things, and I really like this place for the amazing variety of gadgets, toys and those "stupid-thing-that-I'll-never-use-bu-I-want".
Now I'm looking for a Mp3player to use on my "night runs". If You have any tips about a good model for a low price (I'm in Brazil and with a few money in my pockets) please tell me!
