Bday trip

Hey,
Depois de um tempão sem novidades estou mandando algumas fotos do meu aniversário (Tá, você deve estar pensando "Esse cara pregüiçoso fez aniversário em dezembro" e vc tá certo! Desculpa denovo) tiradas em Bertioga - São Paulo.
Em algumas delas eu usei uma camera digital (Tá, vc tá certo denovo, nesse blog deveria usar apenas o celular, mas tem horas que é muito difícil! Talvez com um desses novos telefones eu consiga melhor qualidade (se eu conseguir comprar um))
Bom, é isso, eu tenho outras fotos mas vou usá-las no próximo post ;)

Hey,
After a long time witouth any news I'm sending some pictures of my birthday (Yeah, you're probably thinking "This lazy guy has bday on december" and you're right! Sorry again) taken in Bertioga - São Paulo.
To some of them I used a digital camera (Yeah, you're right again, this blog was supposed to use only the cell phone, but sometimes it's pretty hard! Maybe using those new phones I could get a better quality(If I could buy one))
Well, that's it, I have some other pictures, but I'll use them on the next post ;)

Rua 25 de março, o paraíso da pirataria!

É, pode parecer estranho para alguém de fora de Sampa mas este lugar é incrível! Qualquer coisa que você quiser você acha, por um preço ridículo.
De perfumes a DVDs, for uns trocados você compra tudo nas ruas. Claro, tem coisas boas também, e eu gosto desse lugar pela incrível variedade de tranqueiras, brinquedos e aquelas "coisas-estupidas-que-nunca-irei-usar-mas-eu-quero".
Agora estou atrás de um MP3 Player para usar em minhas "corridas noturnas". Se tiver alguma dica de um modelo a preço baixo me avise!

25 de março st. the piracy heaven!
Yeah, it could be strange for someone outside Sao Paulo (well, in a first world country) but this place is just amazing! Anything you want you get, for a ridiculous price. From perfumes to DVDs, for a few bucks you can buy those things on the streets.
Of course, there are some good things, and I really like this place for the amazing variety of gadgets, toys and those "stupid-thing-that-I'll-never-use-bu-I-want".
Now I'm looking for a Mp3player to use on my "night runs". If You have any tips about a good model for a low price (I'm in Brazil and with a few money in my pockets) please tell me!

Memorial da América Latina

Bom, no outro post falei de uma "ligação mundial", nesse (voltando ao atual propósito - Imagens de Sampa ou Brasil através do meu celularm ainda não decidi) mostra

uma construção muito importante em São Paulo - O memorial da América Latina.
Esse incrível construção "celebra" a união da América Latina, serve para lembrar nossos problemas e maternos unidos, lutando por nossos direitos.
Bonito de falar e ouvir mas na verdade isso não é bem verdade. Talvez um dia nós iremos ver como a UE deu certo.. talvez.
Falando sobre a construção, esse é um projeto do Oscar Nyemeyer talvez o arquiteto brasileiro mais importante.

Prá mim ele não é tão vom já que suas construções são muito belas mas apresentam diversos problemas. O maior exemplo é o palácio do planalto - A maioria dos nossos presidentes optou por morar em outros lugares de Brasília. por causa do desconforto do local.
Mas analisando sob uma ótica histórica, esses prédios sào incríveis, muito diferentes da simplicidade de Frank Loyd por exemplo.

Well, the other post talked about a world connection, and this one (going back to my new theme - Images of Sampa or Brazil thru my cell phone, not decided yet) shows a
very important building in Sao Paulo - The Latin america's Memorial (sorry guys, just in portuguse, makes sense about the porpuse of this place, but they should at least have an Spanish version. Any doubts, ask me!).
This amazing building is to "celebrate" the Latin America union, to remeber our problems and keep us togheter, fighiting for our rights.
Nice to say and heard that, but in fact that's not true. Maybe someday We'll see how good was UE for Europe... maybe.
Talking about the building, it's a Nyemeyer (Again just in portuguse, but you can see some pictures and projects. Try babelfish or google language tools) projetc, probably the most important Brazilian architect.

For me he's not so good once their buildings are really good looking but sometimes they have huge problems. the biggest example is our "offcial house" - Normally our presidents choose to live in some other place in Brasilia
cause the place is not comfortable. But looking those buildings in a historical view, they are amazing, quite far from the Frank Loyd's simplicity, for example.

Bom, hoje vou colocar 2 posts com alguma conexão.
Primeiro algo que tava pensando ontém: esse é um mundo pequeno desde que tenhamos uma conexão com a Internet.
Estou dizendo isso pq ontém foi um dia legal, falei com vários amigos de todos os cantos do mundo.
Kenji (japonês que está morando em Vancouver), Lisa (ela é de St thomas, perto de Toronto), yunsoo (Um tempão desde a última vez que nos falamos, ela é da Coréia) e alguns do Brasil.

Como eu gosto disso, e como eles fazem falta.

Well, today I'll put 2 posts with some connection.
First something that I was wondering yesterday: this is a small world, since we have an Internet connection.
I'm saying that cause yesterday was a very nice day, I talked to lot's of friends all over the world.
Kenji (japanese but living in vancouver), Lisa (she's from St. thomas, near to Toronto), Yunsoo (I long time since we last talked, she is from Korea) and some from Brazil.

I really love that, and how do I miss them!

At the same time, east and west coast of Canada, Korea and Brazil "on my screen"!
That's a small world and we'll met again guys!

Sun set

O pôr-do-sol visto do meu ônibus.
Essa eu tirei no estacionamento da BASF, voltando prá casa.
A cidade de São Bernardo é uma das cidades da região da grande São Paulo. Alguns já sabem que vivo em Santo André, outra cidade da região (e provavelmente a mais bela :-P)

Sao Bernardo do Campo city is another city on the Great Sao Paulo region. Some of you already know that I live in Santo Andre, another city from this region (and probably the most beautiful :-P)

Ibirapuera

Isso aí galera, a foto tá ruim, mas eu tentei umas vezes e essa foi a melhor.
É difícil tirar uma foto de noite, no ônibus e usando um celular. Bom, Eu podia dizer que é uma inspiração artísitca, colocando o movimento da água na imagem estática e... :-P tá bom, tá bom.
Essa é a fonte do Ibirapuera, uma linda vista que tive durante o último mês quando trabalhei no bairro de pinheiros.
É, Ibirapuera é um ótimo lugar para se visitar de noite (pelo menos para ver o "show de água e luz")

Ok, guys, this pic is not good, but I tried a couple of times and this is the best one.
It's quite hard to take a pic at night, on the bus using a cell phone... well, I could say that this is an artistic inspiration, putting the water's movement on this static image and... :-P ok, ok.
this is the Ibirapuera's fountain, a very nice view that I had during last month when I was working on Pinheiros district.
Yeah, Ibirapuera is a really nice place to visit at night (at least to see the "water and lights show")
