Ainda estamos na briga! Os pistons fizeram um jogo incrível ontém de noite e ainda temos chances de vencer o campeonato!!
Quinta feira vai ser um dia fantástico (eu espero).
O único problema ontém foi achar um lugar prá assistir o jogo. o Champs estava - como imaginei - lotado e então resolvemos ir prá outro lugar.... decisão errada heheheh Nós só vimos os 2 quartos finais, mas foi legal :)
Bom gente, o tempo tá indo rápido e a semana quase acabando e tenho que trabalhar um monte então....

We're on! The pistons had an amazing game last night and we still having chances to win the championship!!
Next thursday will be a great day (I hope).
The only problem last night was found a place to watchs the game. Champs was - as expected) crowded ant them we decided to move on to another place..... wrong decision heheheh We just saw the last 2 quarters but was nice :)
Well guys, the time is running fast and the week is almost finishing e I have a lot of work to do so...

Trabalhando em Dallas

Curtas:
O primeiro dia de trabalho não foi tão ruim, e o café é uma droga, como esperava.
Ainda tá difícil de entender o transito aqui mas dirigindo esse carro (GM Malibu V6) não é um problema.
Asurpresa d dia ficou por conts do jantar com Mr. Kimo Kimnum restaurante coreano huuuummm o churrasco deles é muito bom.. Tenho que ir na aclimação comer :)

quick notes:
The first day at work wasn't that bad, the cofee is not good as I expected.
It still hard to understand the traffic here but driving this car (GM Malibu V6) its not a problem in fact.

The surprise of the day was our dinner with mr. Kimo Kim in an amazing korean restaurant huuummm the korean barbecue is really nice... I have to go to some restaurants in Sao Paulo :)Dando uma volta num shopping da Big Beaver

Esse lugar eh diferente de tudo que jah vi. Bom, parece Dalas onde eu estava no final de semana.
As duas cidades foram feitas para carros e nao para pessoas, tudo eh longe e sem carro vc nao vai a lugar algum.
Infelizmente nao tenho tempo para continuar escrevendo pois tenho que trabalhar amanha cedo mas, prometo, vou falar um pouco mais desse passeio mais tarde ;-)

Yes, I'm already in Detroit (utica in fact).
This place is really different from everything I've seen before. Well, its similar to Dallas, where I was this weekend.
Both cities are made for cars, not people. Everything is far and without a car you just can't go anywhere.
Unfortunatelly I have no time to keep writing cause Ihave to work tomorow mornig, but I promisse, I'll talk a little more about this trip later ;-)

Opa, voltei!
Depois de um tempão arrumei uns minutos para escrever por aqui!
Como um dia comum vira uma maluquice? Fácil, só precisa achar uma greve no seu caminho LOL
Isso foi no dia 20 de maio na frente da BASF Imigrantes (imigrantes é uma estrada de Sào Paulo)
Dá prá imaginar:
Eu estava meio sonado ainda e depois de estacionar o carro (é gente, eu estacionei na frente da confusão e não tinha percebido oq estava acontecendo) dei de cara com uma grande fogueira na frente da entrada principal!
Foi, no mínimo, engraçado! Os grevistas colocaram fogo em pneus, colocaram um caixão (?!?!) na frente da entrada principal e estavam lá, gritando e empunhando bandeiras... é, uma zona!
Felizmente não sou funcionário da BASF e não tive problemas para entrar no prédio (isso mesmo, sou empregado da EDS trabalhando no prédio da BASF desenvolvendo software para a GM! Isso é globalização ;-)).

Yeah, I'm back!
After a long time I took some minute to write a few words here!
How a simple day turns into a strage day? Easy you just need to find a strike in your way LOL
This was in may 20th in front of BASF Imigrantes (Imigrantes is a road in Sao Paulo its name means -as you can imagine - immigrants).
Can you imagine that:
I was a little sleepy, going to work and after parking my car (yes guys, I parked in front of this mess and didn't notice what was going on at the first) finding a HUGE bonfire in front of the main entrance!
Was, at least, funny! The strikers setted fire in some tires, putted a coffin (?!?) in front of the entrance and where there screaming and holding some flags... well, a mess!

Fortunatelly I'm not a BASF employee and had no problem to enter in the building (yes, I'm an EDS employee, working insed the BASF building, developing software to GM! It's globalization ;-) ). Dentro da BASF

É pessoal, eu vendi minha moto! (e isso doeu)
Agora, como um simples motorista meus fins de semana de sol não são os mesmos. Esse último com temperatura na casa dos 30 graus e um baita sol na minha cabeça foi uma tortura ter que andar de carro pela cidade! Terrível, não tem graça nenhuma :(

Um dia eu compro outra... talvez....espero...

Yes guys, I sold my motorcycle! (and it hurted)
Now, as a simple car driver my sunny weekends are not the same. This weekend with temperatures around 30 degrees and a bright sun over my head was a torture having to drive around the town in a car! Just terrible, there's no fun at all :(

Someday I'll buy another one... maybe.... I hope....

Tão estranho escrever isso aqui mas algumas vezes a vida vai em caminhos estranhos.
Esse domingo foi um dos mais tristes da minha vida devido a perda de um grande amigo.
Já falei dele aqui, um adolescente de 50 anos - essa é a melhor forma de descrevê-lo.
É tão esquisito, tantos planos, sempre falávamos sobre tentar mestrado, ter o próprio negócio e coisas do tipo.

Um cara com uma história de vida interessante, conseguiu o primeiro diploma na faculdade aos (+/-)48 e o segundo aos 50, eu só comecei a jogar bola pq ele insistiu por um tempo e outras coisas "estranhas" para um cara da idade dele.

So strange to write this here but sometimes our life goes in a strange way.
This sunday was one of the most sad days in my life cause I lost a great friend.
I've already talked about this guy, a teenager of 50 yo - that's the best way to describe him.
It's so weird, we had some plans, always talking about try a masters degree, running our own bussiness and things like that.

An intersting history of life, he earned his first bachelor degree when he was (around) 48 and the second with 50, I just started to play soccer cause he insisted for a while and so many "strange" things for a guy with his age.

Thanks for everything!
I miss you and rest in peace Manoel.
